What's it about?

Steve Simpson and Errol Walsh have been fast friends and musical colleagues since the early 1990's in London where they played together in both electric and acoustic formats.

Steve is a multi-talented singer/songwriter and instrumentalist (guitar/slide/fiddle/mandolin/accordion) who has graced the stage with a plethora of international music stars across a wide range of musical genres including Small Faces front-man Ronnie Lane; Scottish rock singer Frankie Miller; American bluesman Eric Bibb; Denis Lacorriere from Dr Hook and English rock legend Roger Chapman.

Errol lives locally in Glenariff and is an award winning singer/songwriter including BCMA 'Best Album' for his album "Coyotes" recorded in Dave Gilmour's Astoria Studio in London....... "Waltzing in the Water" recorded in Nashville with a stellar lineup of session musicians won the "Spirit of Antrim" award for services to music in N. Ireland and included a song co-written with Ry Cooder's accordionist Flaco Jiminez

Bob Speers is a folk / blues singer with an exceptional gift for telling a story in song.

His critically acclaimed album ‘Northland’ was described by song writing legend David McWilliams as ‘’ the most significant folk album to come out of the North in twenty years.’’

It is a measure of Bob’s talent as a writer that Brendan Quinn recorded no less than three Bob Speers songs on his celebrated album ‘The Mystery.’
