Free Walking Tour: Glenarm Industrial Heritage Tour

When's it happening?

Date: Monday 4 June 2018
Times: 7-9pm
Admission: Free but booking essential.
Ages: All welcome.  Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.

What's it about?

 

A walking tour of the industrial past of Glenarm village, including the Old Limestone Quarry, Llayde Path, once the highest mill-race in Ireland, Whiting Mill chimney, harbour and pier. This tour will be led by Ann Dunlop assisted by Maureen McAuley. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing for walking on paths and quiet country roads. Walking distance 3 miles.
