What's it about?

The exhibition chronicles the final battles of The Great War, reflects on its legacy and examines this pivotal year in the Irish political landscape.

This exhibition brings together a number of projects carried out across the Mid and East Antrim Museum & Heritage Service to mark the end of the First World War. The themes reflect the focus of each geographic area within our Borough.

For Carrickfergus Museum the aim is to focus on the Bentra airship station and set it in context with other aspects of coastal defence during WWI, including the Naval base at Larne, which is the focus for Larne Museum
